Last week I had a fantastic Senior Portrait Session with an wonderful young man. Ian came for his Senior Portrait Session. His Mom accompanied him. He was a little apprehensive at first, but after we chatted a little about how the session would go, he relaxed and together we were able to make some outstanding portraits.
He brought his guitar and we talked about music and guitars and song-writing. Ian even sang an original composition while I was photographing his. That made his mood, body language and expressions so authentic, that I was able to capture the real person he is from the inside.
When he left the studio his mom told me he was very pleased with the session and that he had a great time. Today when Ian viewed his portraits he loved them all. He thanked me for doing such a great job. He said they looked so real and relaxed. I'm so happy that Ian felt comfortable enough to share his true thoughts.
I'm even more thrilled that he feels good about himself and his amazing Senior Portraits. Good luck Ian during your Senior Year at Hamden Hall.
